Notes on 'Camp'

"Notes on 'Camp'" is a documentary series that follows Sweet Beef Theatre, a fringe theatre collective from London, UK.

Their show "Crying Shame" explores the loneliness and vulnerability of queer individuals. In their words - “It’s a cabaret. A wellness journey. A 10-step programme. All about loneliness... I know, how embarrassing.”

The series provides insight into the performers' meditative world as they transform into their characters.

The title references Susan Sontag's essay "Notes on ‘Camp’" from 1964.
